In Power and in Weakness

God upholds creation, yet nurtures a bruised reed or a dimly burning wick. God speaks into our lives and creates new things.

In Power and in Weakness

God comes in earthquake and storm to bring us peace. The voice of the Lord thunders yet came elsewhere to Elijah as a still small voice.

In Power and in Weakness

Jesus dispenses authority yet submits to baptism in all righteousness (In the sense of living in right relationship.) rather than demanding rights. God speaks to him of love and pleasure.

In Power and in Weakness

Anointed with the Holy Spirit and power, yet Jesus is put to death on a tree for preaching peace, doing good and healing. We are to speak as witnesses of what God has done for us.
