Bronwyn and Anouk have general responsibility for the day to day management of the Tasmanian office, answering all the enquiries that arise and coordinating communications including the monthly newsletter Uniting Tasmania, maintaining the Presbytery Directory and Presbytery records and data, supporting the three Committees of the Presbytery and organising Presbytery meetings, and other office duties.

- Synod Liaison Minister (SLM) and Presbytery Chairperson
Rohan’s role as Synod Liaison Minister (SLM) includes managing the Tasmanian Office and staff, leading the Presbytery Ministry Team and working collaboratively with the Councils of the Church to grow healthy communities of faith and to develop and form leaders for a missional church. The elected role of Presbytery Chairperson includes communication and organisation of the meetings of the Presbytery; strategic planning in consultation with the Presbytery Standing Committee; and general pastoral oversight with the Pastoral Relations Committee. Rohan represents the Synod within Tasmania and is the coordinating point of contact between the Synod and congregations in Tasmania, encouraging engagement with the Synod’s Vision and Mission Principles as well as the Presbytery’s Strategic Focus.

- Presbytery Resource Minister – southern region
Denise is based in Hobart, works four days a week with congregations and ministry workers to equip church leaders with skills for mission and ministry to enable new ways of being church. As Presbytery Resource Minister for southern Tasmania, Denise resources the local ministry leadership teams and ensures collegial support for ministers in placement. Denise has worked with individuals applying for specified ministries, with oversight of continuing education and supervision arrangements, as well as working with lay leaders or those exploring what it means to be in leadership in the church present and future.

- Presbytery Ministry Support
Sherrin is based in Hobart and provides support for ministry leaders by organising the annual ministry retreat for ministry workers in placement (Renew), the annual lay ministry conference (Refresh, Lay Preacher and worship leader ‘hub’ days, and support for people undertaking online training courses in worship, preaching and theology. Sherrin is also the minister for the Derwent Cluster: the Glenorchy UC and Claremont-Bagdad UC congregations.

- Synod Property and Development Manager (Tas.)
Lucia is based in Hobart, works 3 days a week and oversees property development projects and advises on property matters including the maintenance, lease, sale and purchase of properties. Lucia is the first point of contact for anything relating to Uniting Church property in Tasmania. Lucia also liaises with the Synod Property Services and Legal teams.
