Journey – Youth.Faith.Leadership
Launceston Regional Youth connected to the Uniting Church (Uniting, Scotch Oakburn, or congregations) are gathering for monthly faith formation and leadership experiences and learning. We pray that these gatherings are part of the journey in becoming faithful followers of Jesus, experiencing life-giving communities of reconciliation. In July the youth will be traveling to Darwin to build on the foundation they have developed in Christian faith, cultural awareness, intergenerational understanding, leadership skills and care for creation. Youth Camp
Jeff Savage and Anthea Maynard, along with four young adult leaders will be hosting Youth Camp 16th-19th April at the SOC Fingal Valley Campus. Kids Camp Out
– inviting you to join the organising team!
Later in the year (hopefully October) the delightful Kids Camp Out will be on at the Scotch Oakburn Fingal Valley Campus.
We gather in this way with kids from grade 3-6 because we love to:
- encourage connection and networking;
- interaction with God, creation and one another;
- experience, exercise and grow faith in community and
- hear, engage with and respond to God ’s love individually
We pray our participants enjoy finding out more about God and experience a safe place for creativity and exploration of faith.
