As we read, clause by clause we are led to a vision of THE CITY OF GOD, the city where God reigns. They are visions, they are great hopes, embedded in Psalm 48.

Mark’s reading shows Jesus giving fully and freely of himself in the power of God, he doesn’t plan each day as to what he will teach or whom he will heal. He gets out among people and the tasks come to him.
