Sunday 4 August Ecclesiastes 1: 2, 14 Hosea 11: 1-11
Hosea assures us that though we may suffer the consequences of turning away, and chasing after the wind, God will hear our repentance and welcome each one back and “return us home.”

The Big Bang and Evolution claim that time and chance produced the universe and life – a mere random process. This passage makes a different claim: By the Son, the second person of the Trinity, all things were created: through him and for him. Random things do not cohere, but in him all things hold together – make sense.
